Description of Brass Woven Mesh Screen

The brass woven wire mesh is also called papermaking cloth, which is used in the papermaking industry. Papermaking cloth uses the phosphor bronze wires in the warp and brass wires in the weft. Brass woven wire cloth has outstanding acid and alkali resistance, so it is widely used for filtering applications.

Brass woven mesh screen has good corrosion and wear resistance. Brass is a copper alloy mainly composed of copper and zinc. When stainless steel material is not available, brass mesh can be used instead because it has excellent resistance to abrasion and corrosion. They also have a lower electrical conductivity compared to copper wire mesh. Woven brass mesh screen is used for several applications such as:
